Scope
This Privacy Policy covers MackSims LLC and MackSims beta products distributed on the web, Apple App Store, and Google Play, including ShutterBid, FishCrew, MomentPick, CurbCue (formerly FairShare), MotoCrew (formerly ThrottleLink), CoachCore, Sermon Studio, Aegis Intel, public websites, test builds, and related preview apps. These products are still evolving, so this policy describes the types of data the ecosystem may collect without claiming that every feature is live in every app.
Information we may collect
Depending on the app and feature, MackSims may collect account information, profile details, usernames, email addresses, app role selections, uploaded content, support messages, diagnostics, device/browser details, crash logs, approximate usage activity, and permissions you choose to grant.
Uploaded content and profiles
Apps such as ShutterBid and FishCrew may allow users to create profiles, post content, upload photos, submit listings, share feedback, or participate in marketplace/community workflows. Do not upload private, sensitive, or confidential content unless you are comfortable sharing it with the intended product workflow.
Permissions
Some beta apps may request access to features such as camera, photos, location, notifications, or contacts only when a related feature requires it. If a permission is not fully wired yet, the app may show preview or mock behavior instead of production behavior.
How we use information
We use information to operate the apps, provide support, improve reliability, test beta features, protect users, moderate abuse, troubleshoot bugs, and prepare products for public release.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information and do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA. We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, app distribution, support, security, and infrastructure. User content may be visible to other users when a feature is designed for public, marketplace, or community sharing.
Retention and deletion
You may request account deletion or data removal at account deletion. After we verify a request, we aim to delete live cloud account data within 30 days. Encrypted backups may retain residual copies until purged on rotation within about 90 days. Some records may be retained when needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute, or platform-integrity reasons.
California / US state rights
California and certain other US state residents may request to know, delete, or correct personal information, subject to verification and legal exceptions. Email privacy@macksims.com with subject “Privacy Request.” We do not sell or share personal information as described above. Appeal denials with subject “Privacy Appeal.”
Children
MackSims products listed on the App Store and Google Play are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child provided data and we will delete it.
